The infamous and feared Junkers Ju87 Stuka quickly rose to prominence as one of the most dreaded weapons of the Second World War. This two-man dive bomber saw its first combat action in the Spanish Civil War, flying over the skies of Spain. Despite its outdated appearance, the Stuka did incorporate some modern features such as automatic dive brakes, although its overall design was considered outmoded.

In 1940, during the battles over Poland, France, and the Low Countries, the Stuka proved to be effective in clear skies, operating successfully. However, during the Battle of Britain over the South of England, the Stuka faced strong opposition from the Royal Air Force fighters and suffered significant losses as a result. Subsequently, the Stuka was utilized in the Balkans and the Western Desert, and continued to serve in Russia as a tank destroyer until the end of the war.

The 1:72nd scale WWII military aircraft plastic model kit replicates the iconic Junkers Ju87 Stuka. With a skill level of 2, the kit contains 110 parts, and lists the required Humbrol paints on the outside of the box. Construction and painting are necessary to assemble the model, requiring the purchase of glue and paints separately.
